What’s the Point Anyway?

Let’s break this down: 

You wouldn’t go to court without a lawyer.

Why?  Because you want to know that you’re giving yourself the best shot possible for a positive outcome.

You don’t swing your golf club and hit the ball in some random direction hoping that maybe you’ll get a hole in one.

Try thinking of your marketing from the same perspective.  Why spend money on marketing and take a shot at it just “hoping that it works?”  It doesn’t make any sense and yet companies do this all the time. 

They feel the need to promote their business or maybe the pressure to keep up with the competition.  So they come up with an idea or take the advice of the latest media rep. who pitched them their do-or-die proposal the week before.  They try putting their ad out there and say “we’ll see if we get some response.”  Then after it doesn’t generate the response they’re hoping for they say “Well that didn’t work.  Let’s try something else.”  Before they know it they’ve spent a bunch of time and money shooting into the dark and don’t have much to show for it.  On top of that, they’ve sent all kinds of mixed messages to the consumer.

 Stop the madness!  We get all flustered just thinking of it!  Slow down and think this whole marketing thing through…

Agencies are made up of people who eat and breathe marketing and advertising.  We’re a little nutty from the Average Joe’s perspective.  For instance, marketing people go around the world all day looking at billboards, websites, and advertising and then get together and talk about how great that ad was or why it completely bombed.  We actually open our junk mail and then talk about why we opened it instead of throwing it in the trash.  We spend all kinds of time researching when and where companies, like yours, should spend money and where they definitely should not.

We do all of this every day all day long, while you work away at running that well oiled machine of yours. 

So why use an agency?  Because frankly, we know what we’re doing when it comes to marketing and advertising which means no more wasting your time and money which results in a positive outcome, dollars in your pocket and a smile on your face.  Now that’s smart…
